Week 11
Birmingham v Derby County
made a formation line up; went from a modified 4-4-2 to a 4-4-1-1. hopefully I can get my first win? SIKE, 3-3 draw. Up 3-1 at one point but our defense just couldn't keep up.
Berto with a sweet floaty over the keeper. Man of the match with 2 goals and an assist.
Week 12
Derby County v Everton
Berto and Bentley were named to Player of the Week in their effort against Birmingham. If I get a good rhythm on our defense we might be able to pull up from the cellar. 19th place coming into this match...
back and forth match. 1-1 draw. still looking for a win.

Weeks 6-10 (try 7, season 2)
Week 6
Derby v Stoke City
3-3 draw. Again, another goal by Pearson disallowed by an offsides, the difference this time was he was offsides. Would really love to get a win to relieve some pressure on the team.
Sweet cross to Berto for a goal. this put us up 2-1.
Week 7
West Ham v Derby County
solid play all around but we let one slip through. 1-0 loss.
Week 8
Arsenal v Derby County
I immediately regret being promoted. This game is proof on how unbalanced the league can be. 1-6 loss in the books. We are now 19th in the league.
Week 9
training/rest
Week 10
Sunderland v. Derby County
Now I know why people within the sports community don't want to talk to reporters. 2-1 loss. FML

Week 2-5 (try 7, season 2)
Week 2
Fulham v Derby County
First season away game, let's see how this will go...
First half saw 2 go off the post. we were doing well with our passing but just couldn't stop them at the goal. down 4-0 at the half is pretty depressing, 5-0 loss is a beat down.
Week 3
Brentford(L1) v Derby County (2nd round of League Cup)
Sat a few starters in hopes to keep guys fit for league games, which didn't help I'm afraid. losing 2-1. This is an all too familiar start to the season.
Derby County v Manchester City (FA Cup 3rd round)
Like I was saying before, this is all too familiar. 0-3 loss. Silva tore us apart.
Week 4
REST/TRAINING
WEEK 5
Blackburn v Derby County
I'm glad this one at least stayed close. We should have won this with a goal by Pearson in the 89th but he was called offsides. BULLSHIT. The lone goal by Berto.

try 7, season 2. Week 1 - Welcome to the Premier League.
Oh boy, so I've made some moves.
IN - David Bentley on loan(option to buy) from Tottenham, Cala from Sevilla FC, Alberto Bueno from Valladolid, George Elokobi from Wolverhampton, and Gelson Fernandes on loan(option to buy) from AS Saint-Etienne.
OUT - Luke Varney to Blackburn for 2.1mil, and Mark O'Brien to Wolverhampton for 850,000 and 30% of profit on next sale. Out on loan is Conor Doyle on a season long loan(option to call back) to Southampton.
First game was against Aston Villa. WHAT A BORE. 0-0 draw that very well could have gone their way. Off to a slow start but I think we can pull through.

Season 2 (try #7)
Offseason time. I've already exercised a buyout for 3.5mil for a 15% on next sale from a player we sold to Tottenham back in 2003/4. Now my first goals are...
- Grab Alberto Bueno back on loan/option to buy, or straight up buy.
- looking for B+, A- AM(L,C).
- looking at a DL/WBL to improve the weak left side of our team.
We have lots of youth behind us. I grabbed 4 under 20 y/o top prospects, Zacharie Boucher GK , Kim Won-Sik D(C/L), Alexandre N'Gadi AM(R/C), Jamil Adam ST.
Now starts the grind of just avoiding relegation. We shouldn't have made it here so fast is what I fear.

Season 1 (try #7) - a quick version
as the title says, this was my 7th try at FM2011. out of 6 times I've made it past the 1st season twice, only to be fired by october. Well, not only did I make it through the first season, I was also promoted to the Premier League, runner up for coach of the year, and had the top scoring team with 85 total goals(but only a +14 differential, more on that later). The following are the best goals and match highlights from the season. chronological, you bet. uploaded in 1080p for no reason at all.
This is my main man, Alberto Bueno. On loan from Valladolid, this dude was wrecking defenders with great footwork and touch. Had 20 goals before being stopped in Feb with a season ending injury. My goal is to grab him on transfer for the new year.
Right time, right place. Paul Green with a solid follow up. I remember after winning this game and thinking that I was on to something good for once.
Hustle from a big pickup on transfer from Toulouse FC, Alexandre N'Gadi.
Beuno went on a tear in October with 2 hat tricks. This was the first of those.
The goal that put us up 2-1 against Tottenham in the FA Cup.
Bueno VS. QPR. Berto comes in and just has a field day scoring 4 against QPR.
First real crazy game of the year. 4-3 nail biter with Cardiff.
So, we had tied Tottenham 2-2 in a FA match, win 2 more inbtween, and straight up got smacked around in the rematch. Hell, we gave some fight all the way til the end.
This is where scouting paid off. Pick up this kid, Jamil Adam, from the irish national squad on a free transfer. We were very weak at striker with an unproven 18 and 19 y/o and Bueno on loan. Our top striker was on loan to Blackpool and the next was injured until 3/5ths into the season. Adam racked up 19 goals and 10 assists in 37 appearances all season.
David Martin with a wicked free kick.
Down 2-0 in the first round of promotion playoffs, we rally to come back and win 4-3 total. One step closer.
Highlights of the stressful promotion game against Sheffield United.
now that I have my first year jinx off my back, i'm going to try to keep up more with a weekly/bi-weekly(in game) update.
